Welcome to GIRLS FUN ADVENTURES, LLC, where ‘Girls just wanna have fun!’ Here at GIRLS FUN ADVENTURES we are excited to be the leader of the phenomenon in having fun! Girls from all over the state of Minnesota and beyond, are ready to benefit from a weekend filled with fun and surprises. The need for a girl getaway is contagious! Yippee, for everyone who wants to have a great time with friends, family, and us!
The Adventures began because I needed a break from the monotony of everyday life. My name is Jody Winter, and I am the founder of GIRLS FUN ADVENTURES, LLC. It is often said, that from tragedy comes triumph, this is my story…

It was over nine years ago, when I was diagnosed with an uncontrollable seizure disorder. At one time, my mind and body were producing over a dozen debilitating grand mal seizures a day. My ‘normal’ life had come to an abrupt stop. Fighting health conditions had not been foreign to me. I have been a type-one diabetic for over 20 years. I continue to battle intense rheumatoid arthritis. But, it was the seizure condition that stopped me in my tracks. Including the obvious medical effects, not able to drive my car and needing a chaperon in public, and my once corporate lifestyle was something of the past.
It was a simple phone call that I made to my friend, Betty that changed my life.
The conversation began with an emphatic ‘I need to get out; I need to be with friends…I need a fun girls weekend away!” Betty’s voice on the other end of the phone replied “me too!” Although Betty was not fighting medical issues, like so many others, the weariness of everyday life was pushing Betty to needing a break as well- she needed to get away with ‘the girls’.
This was the ticket I was looking for. I felt this was the project that could give me the push I needed. My goal was to plan an unforgettable fun getaway for my friend, Betty, and myself! After chatting, we invited a couple friends, then a couple more. Then, those friends invited more, and so on and so on…
That summer, after months of planning a weekend full of surprises, 52 of our friends boarded a beautiful motor coach bound for a mystery Adventure. It was that weekend; I realized that I was not alone in my every day challenges in life.
With the single purpose of having fun, GIRLS FUN ADVENTURES, LLC, and ‘Girls just wanna have fun!’ weekends were born.
As of today, I have met and had fun weekends with thousands of women.
This awesome story continues. Every day and every mystery, GIRLS FUN ADVENTURES continues to keep the purpose of having fun going.
